Land Therapy

Stretching and strengthening are an integral and essential part of neurological rehabilitation.

The prone position stretches hip flexors that can shorten due to prolonged sitting. Proper stretching increases flexibility, prevents contractures, and helps control spasticity.

Crawling, kneeling, and work on all fours increases core strength. Floor and mat work stimulates the nervous system to perform tasks learned early in development.
