Adaptive Sports & Recreation

In addition to everyday rehabilitation therapy needs, the Neuroworx gymnasium serves as a practice facility for adaptive sports such as wheelchair basketball and rugby. Neuroworx has hand cycles available for outings and training. The clinic has a good working relationship with several adaptive sport and activity organizations including the National Ability Center, Wasatch Adaptive Sports, and the University of Utah TRAILS Program.

Neuroworx is an official charity of the annual Utah Reebok Wasatch Back Relay Race. Teams participating under the Neuroworx sponsorship include individuals who have experienced paralysis. They are an integral part of the team relay process whether it is by walking, running, or riding an adaptive cycle.
